Two inspirational talks about life after death will be presented Sept. 6 & 7 at Dorothy Fagan Studio by the Pond in Cobbs Creek, Virginia.
The artist will speak about how her father met her at the river while he was in hospice ~ to inspire a series of paintings with messages of love and eternal life.
"Meet Me at the Water's Edge" at 2:00 - 3:00 pm Sept. 6 & 7.
In another talk, Fagan will share how her mother Pauline comes in dreams to inspire her to complete their soul mate connection, by painting and designing fabrics for home decor and clothing.
"Remembering You on Our Meandering Garden Path" begins at 11:00 - noon on Sept. 6 & 7.
"Mom first started talking to me in dreams after she passed away in '89. It took me a long time to understand the meaning and purpose. The idea that we share a purpose with a soul mate gives deeper meaning to life."
I was a doubting Thomas when I graduated college. With my BFA in art, I thought creativity was something you did. I had NO CLUE ~ Creativity is how the Creator speaks through us.
Through my mother's battle with cancer, and my father's miraculous survival of the Battle of the Bulge ~ the Creator within has shown me how creativity is innate in all of us.
The creative gifts I have fulfill a purpose in telling our stories ~ as only I can tell. Messages in paintings from Mom and Dad prove to me that love is all there is. Our purpose in helping each other love and be loved is divine.
